GRANNY WHEELS

I just purchased one of these and OMG it is the best. What a great idea. I do a lot of sewing on leather, particularly Bomber hats and heavy winter mittens. I am using relatively thin leather (Usually buck skin) and beaver, racoon, otter, coyote and fox. With beaver and otter, I usually do the sewing by hand because of the thickness that the leather can be. My hands don't work so well in my old age and I can't afford a larger machine, so this works out great. Well done.

I have used the Granny Wheel on both my 44S and 4452 Singer sewing machines. They fit perfectly and don't wobble or slip at all. I make wallets and other light leather/heavy fabric items and I frequently do much of the stitching with the hand wheel rather than the electric motor. The Granny Wheel makes this much easier and greatly reduces wrist fatigue. Highly recommended!

Hello, I absolutely love your idea of the Granny Wheel. I sew metal zippers in designs and use a blanket stitch to hold them down. I'm cranking the wheel when I get to curves so I don't hit the metal zipper teeth and I have blisters turning the wheel by hand. I think your Granny Wheel will do the trick, but I have a Bernina B740 and need to know if you have a wheel to fit. It is 2cm wide and the diameter is 6.4 cm.
Thank you so much for this invention!
